Weekly Geopolitical News and Analysis The passing by the Turkish parliament last week of a law authorizing war against Syria may be part of a secret plan to restore Middle-Eastern peace by placing Turkey in charge of the region. This would mean putting Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel and maybe Iraq under Turkish rule as a part of a loose confederation of countries that have, for many thousands of years, been part of the same cultural tradition.
