This took place on the Ilulissat
Glacier in Greenland. Mike and I have
camped
on a small island across from a glacier in Glacier Bay, Alaska. If
this had happened while we were on that island, we would not be here
today. We'd have been under water. You could turn your speakers up to
full volume and then the sound probably still can't compare to what this
must have sounded like. At the end of this short video they give a
reference to the actual size of this event.
