UPDATE from HopeGirl - Home Quantum Energy Generator

Dear QEG Supporters/Followers!
Here is the update you've been waiting for! To begin with, at the exact same time the campaign for the building of the QEG prototype was ending, Jamie (the inventor, and my husband) and I were forced to move due to contamination of our water supply from hydrofracking (gas drilling in Pennsylvania). This development provided an opportunity to get a workspace that is more conducive to the building of the units; something relatively private with a better work environment (better heat, ample lab space, access to food, affordable, etc.). The new location works out very well, so that's out of the way (we thought we were going to have to rent a space in town, something we were very uncomfortable with due to privacy concerns and additional monthly rental costs).
Please forgive me for not updating sooner but we still don't have internet (I'm at Starbucks writing this to you). So here's our progress so far: many parts have been delivered, and longer lead time parts (ones that have to be made) are being fabricated. Presently, we're clearing the workspace and installing lab equipment needed for assembly and testing of the prototype. We've already tested and qualified the parts that have been delivered so far, and will be ready to start building when the rest of the parts arrive (this coming week and the following week).
Here is a preliminary list of parts on hand so far:
Ball bearings (2) for 7/8" I.D. mainshaft
7/8” Hardened steel generator mainshaft
Toothed belt pulley for generator drive
Toothed belt pulley for drive motor
Toothed drive belt
High Effeciency DC variable speed drive motor
Spools of #20 AWG magnet wire
Spools of #10 AWG magnet wire
High Voltage film/foil capacitors (12)
IGBTs /misc. electronics for voltage regulation
Tubular steel generator frame
Terminals, Connectors, Switches, Wiring, for Output and Control panels
Time to completion (of the prototype): it looks like we'll need every bit of the estimated 10 weeks from the campaign end date of Sept. 13th 2013
Price:The cost of a unit for home use will be approximately $5000
Preordering details: We'll need the funds before we make your unit if we're not quite ready to go into mass manufacturing and distribution. Will send another update in a couple of weeks providing more information on preordering after we have progressed beyond where we are today.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
